Train the Trainer Level 3
This qualification is designed for internal or external trainers who wish to improve their training skills.
Subjects covered include effective training, effective use of slide presentations and other training materials, effective session planning and time management, catering for different learning styles, managing groups and individuals, effective question techniques and assessment methods.
Lifting Supervisor
This training is issued in support of occupational Safety & Health guidelines. It provides information on lifting equipment and lifting operations which, if used properly, will lead to safer working practices.
It provides guidelines for the safe use of lifting equipment at worksites and also contains information relating to general rigging practice and standards which in relevant to all lifting operations.
Highfield Level 2 International Award in Risk Assessment
This qualification is designed to be an introduction to the principles of Risk Assessment. It covers why risk assessments are necessary including the main causes of workplace fatalities, injuries and ill health, the role of risk assessment in the prevention of accidents and ill health and simple processes for carrying out a risk assessment.
It is suitable for learners working in any environment who need to be more risk aware by raising their knowledge of risk in the workplace and basic things they can do to control it.
Mobile Crane Operator
Level 1
By the end of the lesson the crane operator will understand his roles and duties what is expected of him whilst on the job site working to the lift plan.
Role: Operate the crane safely is to drive the crane at an appropriate speed using the correct gear, to ensure that the crane and the load do not come in contact with buildings, structures, powerlines, and people.
When the lift is undertaken the crane, operator acts upon instructions from the banksman.
Rigger Course Level 1
This course is designed to increase the understanding of the candidate in the techniques and understanding needed to Select lifting equipment and how to attach by safe and approved lifting methods.
Each candidate will be assessed of their knowledge through theory and practical exams in which they must pass.
Mobile Crane Operator
Level 2
To be considered for level 2 training, the delegate must be able to prove certification of Stage 1 or equivalent standard. The level 2 is aimed at experienced, trained operators who have spent at least 12 months working as an operator
